One of the important things to do in the 3rd trimester is to make a hospital bag and what to pack? Considering my first child who was born at 30 weeks. I never had enough time to shop and prepare as my 1stone arrived so when I went to the hospital in preterm labor .. I took few outfits I had for him and the rest of the stuff I bought when he was in an incubator and we prepared nursery at home.

I made the baby bag in 7thmonth as I had a fear to deliver earlier and was at high risk. The baby bag had all the basics for a baby that included

Hospital bag Checklist for Babies:

  1. Onesies and trousers(depending on how many days you are supposed to stay in hospital)
  2. 2 to 3 complete outfits(for pictures and going home)
  3. Socks
  4. Mittens
  5. Swaddles
  6. Diapers
  7. Wipes
  8. Milk Bottle
  9. Receiving Blanket
  10. Baby oil/ lotion
  11. Infant car seat(that is most important but obviously that’s not in the bag.

But the real challenge was what should be in for Mom Hospital Bag so I asked my fellow mommies on Insta Family who have had their kids recently and mostly in Canada and made a checklist accordingly.
