Make a day wise rough plan for each park with the dates you have.
Keeping a day wise plan for each park is easier. In this way, you can plan your rides Fast Passes and reservations for dining accordingly.
Our rough plan before we went was
Day 1 -Flight plus Hollywood Studios
As half of the day goes in Flight and by the time we got fresh to go out to parks it was 6 in the Evening so we wanted to see night show or fireworks of one park. We chose Hollywood because we knew it’s not a park with loaded attractions but nighttime fireworks are a must.
But in case you have a flight at night then start your Day 1 with a full day activity.
Day 2 Epcot
Day 3 Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studio
Day 4 Magic Kingdom
Day 5 Typhoon Lagoon and Disney Springs
Day 6 Park Hopping for remaining attractions
Day 7 Checkout, Disney Springs and Flight
Shortlist the hotels you want to dine at:
People also take “Dining Plans” with their Resort package that is economical in its own way. We didn’t know what else we would have added it. Adding one of our unique dining plans to a Disney Resort Hotel Package opens up a world of prepaid meals and snacks at all four theme parks, two water parks, Walt Disney World Resort hotels and select locations at Disney Springs. With several options to choose from, it’s easy to find the dining plan that best fits your family’s needs.
Disney is all about the experience. Besides feeding the hunger that continues throughout the day as you are walking a lot the ambiance of few restaurants is a must to add to your list. Depending on your budget shortlist the restaurants you want to eat in and start looking for the reservations on your app. We shortlisted 9 and got only 3 booked as most of the reservations are made by people approximately 6 months prior to the actual visit.
The Restaurants we shortlisted were
Tomorrow Terrace RestaurantMagic Kingdom
50’s Prime Time CaféHollywood Studios
Be Our Guest RestaurantMagic Kingdom
Garden Grill Restaurant Epcot
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater RestaurantHollywood Studios
San Angel Inn RestauranteEpcot
ABC CommissaryHollywood studios
Rainforest CafeAnimal Kingdom
Tusker House RestaurantAnimal Kingdom
Do you know that every Restaurant can meet your special diet requests like Halal Meat or Vegan options if you an email @ [email protected]at least 48 hours prior to your
reservation.
So once you are successful in making the reservations just start writing them right away for your food requirements.
Disney Hour For Planning
It’s always good to sit with your family or people you are traveling with and do it together. These things would take at least a week to sort out or may be simultaneously you will be doing reservations for your rides and stuff too.
So it’s better to make a Disney Hour every day to get all sorted tats what we used to do every day. I would shortlist the options and we would make decisions in our Disney Hour Together so everyone was involved and on board.
The next blog will be about details on the packing list. So stay tuned
