If you ask me what success looks like as a mom… If you ask me what success looks like as a mom… it’s this moment right here. ❤️ There was a time when I measured progress in milestones, therapy goals, and all the little things I hoped would come with time. But motherhood has a beautiful way of changing what success means. The moment he notices I am overwhelmed… and validates my feelings! In that moment, I wasn’t thinking about checklists or diagnoses. I was thinking, we’re raising a kind human. Compassion. Empathy. The ability to notice someone else’s heart. Those are the milestones that don’t get celebrated enough. Being his Mom has taught me that success isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it’s quiet. It shows up in a gentle hug, a few thoughtful words, or a child reminding you that you’re seen.
