As my child heads back to school, I have one wish As my child heads back to school, I have one wish that feels bigger than grades, milestones or achievements: May he be surrounded by kind people. People who are patient when he struggles to communicate. People who don’t mistake his differences for bad behaviour. People who include him, even when he doesn’t know how to join in.
